Brain stimulation, transcranial DC electric stimulation Methods for time-frequency analysis of event-related oscillatory dynamics: event-related synchronization (ERS) and desynchronization (ERD), Wavelet analysis, spatial analysis  Electro- and psychophysiological data recording and processing: EEG, EMG, EOG, ECG, RT, evoked potentials, event-related (ERPs) and movement-related brain potentials (LRPs), eye movements, reflex responses (vestibular, optokinetic, mechanical, electrical and acoustical), respiration, psychological tests, etc.. Research activity is realized by two research teams headed by Assoc.Prof. Plamen Gatev and Assoc. Prof. Valentina Grigorova. The first team studied mainly mechanisms of movement and postural behavior and the second team - mechanisms of visual-motor adaptive processes.
