"Presynaptic interactions in the central and autonomic nervous system under normal and pathological conditions" - with the Institute of Experimental Medicine, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest, Hungary (2007-2009; 2010-2012). "Building and development of highly qualified young researchers for effective application of biomedical research to improve the quality of life" - Funded by Operational Program "Development of human resources" BG051PO001-3.3.06-0048.  "Effects of vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) in Parkinson's disease model: Effects on dopaminergic neurotransmission and on antioxidant defence system in striatum". Supported by the National Science Fund, Grant MU-L-1502 (2006-2008).  "Evaluation of antitumor and antiviral activities of newly coordination compounds of bile acids, Schiff and Mannich type bases with 3d metal ions". Under the Agreement for cooperation in the field of science between Ministry of Education and Research of Romania and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria.
