Registration and fees for the IV BBC

Registration and Information Desk will be placed at the Vitosha Park Hotel. All participants will receive their name badge, conference documents and all relevant conference material from the Registration Desk.

Registration Desk will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. on 20 June, 2006 and from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. every day of the Congress excl. the day of the mid-congress excursion.

* "Developed countries" includes Australia, Bahrain, Canada, EU and other Middle, Western & North European nations, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, South Korea, Kuwait, Qatar, United Emirates and USA.

** "Developing countries" includes all other countries.

The registration fee of IV BBC covers:

For participants:
      •  Congress materials, including final progam and abstracts
      •  Admission to all scientific sessions and exhibitions
      •  Welcome reception
      •  Mid-congress excursion to Vitosha Mountain
      •  Farewell party
      •  Publishing of presentations in a Supplement of Phytologia Balcanica

For accompanying people:
      •  Welcome reception
      •  Mid-congress excursion to Vitosha Mountain
      •  Farewell party
      •  Admission to the exhibition and poster area

Bank transfers:
Payments should be made without charges to the recipient. Any bank charges will be collected on desk during the registration. Clearly state the participant's name(s) matching with the name on the registration form. The Institute of Botany will issue a document of attendance only when the full registration fee is paid.

For the Bulgarian participants only there is a possibility to pay in Bulgarian leva (BGN).

Please note
The reduced registration fee is only applicable if the payment is made before the deadline: 31 March, 2006.
If you make bank trasnfer, please, send by fax (+359 2 8719032) the payment document and bring it with you to the Congress.
If you apply for a reduced registration fee as a student, please, bring with you respective document.

Cancellation and refunds
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing by registered letter or fax to the Congress office. Registration fees will be refunded as follows:
Written cancellation received:
      •  on or before 15 May, 2006: 75% refund;
      •  after 15 May, 2006: no refund.
The date of the postmark or fax ID will be the basis for considering refunds. Please, indicate the preferred method of reimbursement (cheque or bank transfer, incl. bank account number) on your written cancellation. Refunds will be made after the Congress.

Financial support
Dear Colleagues,
The Organizing Committee of the IV Balkan Botanical Congress has very limited funds for the organization of the event. Therefore no financial support is available for the participants. However, we hope to see you in Sofia in June!
