Beneficiaries of the project results:


Ministry of Environment and Water,
Executive Environment Agency,
National Parks Directorates,
Scientific Research Centers
and Universities,
Local communities and NGOs.



The selected areas are included in Natura 2000 sites and the results obtained will be of European significance.
Recommendation of particular measures for the conservation of biodiversity in the hotspots of the glacial relicts will be elaborated on the basis of analyses of the collected scientific data on the historical processes and contemporary state of the glacial relicts and their habitats.
The outlined measures will be put at the disposal of the National Parks Directorates to be included in the Management Plans and for further implementation. This will ensure sustainability of the Project results.
The same data can be used for the development of Management Plans of the respective zones under NATURA 2000.
Local NGOs could engage themselves in the direct application of some of the recommended measures.
